We were so happy to be a part of the 2016 Modern Luxury Magazine's To Dine For Event, which took place late September at The Alexandria at Torrey Pines's The Farmer and the Seahorse by well-known local chef, Brian Malarkey. For this event, top interior designers and home décor showrooms are paired with notable San Diego chefs who collaborate together on a shared vision and unique culinary theme. We were partnered with Rancho Valencia Resort. We created a beautiful outdoor pavilion and tasting room vignette while Rancho Valencia's chef and staff created gorgeous seafood tastings.Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa brings together unparalleled service, stunning valley views and fresh Coastal Ranch cuisine—all in a modern Mediterranean setting at their restaurants, The Pony Room and Veladora. Inspired by the elegant hacienda resort, Kim Nadel used a blend of her favorite eco elements from around the world to create a luxurious outdoor living room perfect for home and resort living. Vendors- Balinese Daybed and Antique- Horse Sculpture courtesy of David Alan Collection, davidalancollection.com- Lighting courtesy of Tazz Lighting, tazzlighting.com- Outdoor lounge chairs, courtesy of Neoteric Luxury LA, neotericluxury.com- Metal mobiles courtesy of Fail Jewelry, failjewelry.com, blog.failjewelry.comMenu- Lobster & Stone Fruit: Stone Fruit Carpaccio, Heirloom Tomato, Elderflower & Honeysuckle- Elysian Lamb: Lamb, Grilled Peaches, Endive, Bone Marrow Pain Perdu, Anis Jus- Grilled & Chilled Octopus Carpaccio: Octopus, Smoked Potato, Olive, ArtichokeView our feature in Modern Luxury San Diego's September 2016 Issue HERE.
