This Northern Colorado home is the representation of a built environment to nurture the environment and the family in it. This new build was designed to support the connection between beauty and wellbeing. The setting being waterfront on Boyd Lake, the home resonates with the water and mingles vibes of the spectacular mountain views to create connection and healing inspired by the homeowners' dream to incorporate life and work with grace.

The homeowners are very conscious of health and wellbeing. Every space was discussed with Heather to create their environment to uphold their reverence of nature and the connection to it. The home was designed around the spectacular view with almost every waking hour seeing the gifts of the water and the Colorado front range. Using design elements to mimic the water and the mountains was the factor that made this home complete in the process of the integration of a built environment and its natural habitat.

Heather designed custom countertops in the kitchen that were expensive to match the expanse of the front range mountains. The custom color was designed to match the water's color at dawn and dusk so as to never feel disconnected from the world around them. Doors and windows that open fully to the large outdoor living area where friends and family congregate to practice yoga, support community endeavors, and cook from the gardens below that were also designed with Heather to fit into their lifestyles and needs.

Highlights for the homeowners was the in depth design that went beyond the aesthetics of the home. Every material was hand selected to reflect the luxury and beauty they longed for in their home. The bonus is it reflects their conscious need to be stewards to the land they are blessed to be with.
