Wallace Residence

Loveland, CO

This NetZero home was designed to hit the environmental benchmark for the homeowners. One being a biochemist and the other a ceramic artist, the owners wanted to showcase their love of culture, science, and nature.

Heather worked closely to support the process of creating a geothermal and net zero home. The finishes were hand picked and even hand made by the client herself. The simple, yet complex process gave the homeowners a built environment they could easily ‘breathe” and live in.

With the backdrop of a private lake in the Northern Colorado area as their view, it was easy for Heather to access the design elements needed to create nature as an inclusive piece of the environment.

It was also important to design a multi-generational home where the parents of the clients live with much dignity and beauty at their disposal. Nature keeps them happy and young at heart.

Much of the artwork in the home was created by this extremely talented group of people-seems artists run in the family.

Heather curated the furnishings from family heirlooms to ecofriendly statement pieces to create the feel of lakeside living.
